§ 14-61. Duration of division provisions; ownership of property contributed or purchased.

This division providing for the joint administration or enforcement of the Comprehensive Animal Laws (Code of Virginia, § 3.1-796.66 et seq.) shall remain in force and effect until repealed or modified by the county. Property contributed by a local jurisdiction upon termination of the joint program shall be returned to the local jurisdiction. Property purchased with money from the joint dog pound account created under this division shall be the property of the county.
